In The Studio

I have been studying art under the direction of my father for all my life in one way or another, but more seriously for the last seven years. Influenced by art all my life, I've always had the goal of becoming an accomplished artist. Having this  goal so young has helped me to take in as much learning, influence, and criticism from accomplished artists as I can get. I can't imagine a time when I wasn't out in the studio, right under foot, working on all kinds of art creations.

Working at getting an abstract, yet realistic look to my paintings I use objects people are familiar with, altering them to some extent, to look abstract, adding my personal style at the same time. My art is the vehicle through which I express my emotions. Therefore, I am inspired by events in my own life, and those around me. I try to convey the feeling behind each piece through my use of color, lighting, lines, brushstrokes, and writing.
